Our History
Founded by Mr. S.V. Laiju, a hotelier by profession, The Golden Greens (TGG) began as a consulting firm offering professional services in 2008 for accommodation rental and plantation management. During its early phase, the organization experimented with various business models that connected tourism, plantations, and real estate.
The vision was clear: to establish a strong foundation for collective action that would serve the common good. This dedication laid the groundwork for TGG’s evolution into a mission-driven organization.
In 2014, TGG Foundation was established to engage directly with rural communities, focusing on Rural Development and Sustainable Living. Over time, TGG built a global family of individuals who visited and actively participated in various programs or supported its initiatives remotely.
Understanding the collective needs of the TGG Family and aspiring to contribute to a sustainable world, The Golden Greens underwent a transformation. The brand was reimagined as TGG India, consolidating all its social enterprises under one umbrella.
At its core, TGG aims to offer a helping hand to anyone aligned with its Responsible Human Mission—a call to those who have evolved beyond self-centered goals and personal priorities, embracing collective action with accountability and responsibility.
